In September 2023, the Airport Authority of Trinidad and Tobago awarded Appssenger with the project to develop the ANR Robinson and Piarco Airports apps. This event accelerated the expansion capabilities of Appssenger from Europe and Middle-East to the Caribbean and give us the opportunity to join Airport Council International – Latin America and Caribbean. This led us to the 2023 yearly ACI-LAC Conference, hosted by Miami International Airport, to increase our knowledge about the current business status of the ACI-LAC airports, the forecasts and the main concerns and needs of the airports, specially focusing of how Appssenger could help airports to improve the digital passenger experience and increase non-aeronautical revenues.
Exhibitors, delegates, and speakers join the JW Marriot hotel at Miami Downtown. On Sunday, one-to-one meetings allow our delegates to get first-how knowledge about the digitalization plans and the interest of some airports about the possibilities of deploying Appssenger to fit their plans in the short-term.
Monday and Tuesday were very intense days alternating meetings, networking, and very interesting tracks about Passenger Experience. The main objective, shared across all the airports, is to focus on Passenger First initiatives to put the passenger in the center of the actions to create a smooth, seamless, and frictionless journey, reducing the stress generated in any travel. To reach this objective, the digitalization is one of the best tools, especially these solutions like Appssenger that can gather the Passenger Mood in each step of the passenger journey and provide the most useful contextualized information and suggestions.
We are very excited to have joined ACI-LAC, and willing to help them to digitalize the passenger experience, open new bi-directional channels with the passengers and increase the non-aeronautical revenues using a passenger-centric approach.
