As the developer company behind the popular Glasgow Appssenger app, we are proud to celebrate its 5th anniversary since its initial launch.
Over this lustrum, years, our app has become an integral part of the Glasgow community, connecting locals and visitors alike with everything this vibrant city offers.
When we first launched the Glasgow Appssenger app, we knew that we were onto something special. It was part of the AGS program to update the digital channel of the Group’s airports, so we had big expectations for the project. Our team worked tirelessly to create an app that was not only user-friendly and easy to navigate but also packed with features and open the gate to constant native updates over the years.
The official Glasgow Airport App was launched on the 15th of February in 2018. It had over a thousand downloads over the release week. We had the snowfall anecdote, and more early feedback very useful to learn the lesson of focusing on bringing the most utility to our clients with our services.
Over the years, we have learned a lot from our experience with the AGS group about the needs of passengers at the airport and how to provide greater utility to the airport, and thanks to that we were so prepared to face our second launch for the Group, Aberdeen Airport’s App.
As airport technology providers, we are committed to innovation in airports and constantly seek new airport technology, our goal has been always to be part of the innovation airport´s area, and we are proud to say that we accomplished it with AGS.
